Twinnings
Narbonne got involved in internaltional exchanges since 1957 notably by doing several twinnings.
- Eccles/Salford (Great Britain)
Town of 220 000 inhabitants, it is located north of Manchester, a few minutes from the town center of this famous British city. The twinning charter was initially signed with Eccles (then a neighborhood of Salford) was dated from April 8th 1957.
- Weilheim i OB. (Germany)
Small town typically bavarian of 20 000 inhabitants, Weilheim is located 50 km south from Munich and near Louis II de Bavière famous castles. On May 24th 1974, the twinning was made official by Mister Joan BAUER, Mayor Weilheim and Maître Hubert MOULY.
